Is it just us, or has Pop Graffiti Renato got a touch of the Robert de Niro about him? ‘Are you looking at me?’
he asks. Well, yes we are, Renato! Who wouldn’t be with such an eye catching image in front of us?
This graffiti pop art canvas is a brilliant design from Mineheart favourite, Kirin Young.
In this series he takes real 17th century portraits and gives them a 21st century update.
This cloaked gentleman will originally have posed for a Renaissance painter but now, instead of the dark wood panelling
we might expect as a background, a new pop art flavour has been added with a brightly coloured graffiti wall.
Not only that, but Renato now sports some edgy looking face tattoos. No wonder he looks so pleased with himself.
